The Armageddon Group is devoted to providing a full array of services and products for the Chicago trade show and event market. Unlike other security providers this is is our sole focus. We are not just a division or part of a general security company. We work with clients as partners, not simply security vendors. From initial discussions of a client’s needs through the development of a security plan to the onsite management of that plan, you will deal with the same contacts. In its over 40 years of operation, Armageddon has provided security services to thousands of clients, ranging from the largest and most prestigious trade and public shows to small corporate and professional meetings.
The Armageddon Group is Comprised of Three Divisions:
- Armageddon Services, which provides trade show and event security
- AMK Systems, which rents security containers, scooters and safes
- Roman Tradeshow Consulting which provides security consulting and floor managers
What We Believe
We believe trade show security needs to be approached with the same level of professionalism and accountability as every other contractor involved with your event. Let’s be honest, security in general and trade show security in particular, has long been an afterthought, perceived as a regrettable but necessary drain on your budget. However, the security officers, particularly those at the entrances and key public post, frequently become the face of your show or event. They are the ones that your attendees and exhibitors most frequently interact with and look to for information and directions. We strongly believe trade show security requires a delicate balance between security procedures and strong customer relations skills. Finally, to make this all come together for the benefit of the client, we believe in a strong onsite presence and management by ownership and key company officials.
Company History
In 1979, Joseph Adelsick, Sr., a partner in AMK Systems, founded Armageddon Services to fill a gap in quality trade show security in the Chicago market. Over the next several decades, he built Armageddon into one of the largest and most respected security companies in the trade show industry. After Joe’s passing, his son James assumed leadership of Armageddon and AMK. In 2011, William Ochwat, a veteran of more than 30 years in the trade show industry, became the owner of both Armageddon and AMK. He serves also as the president of the combined companies under The Armageddon Group.
